This could be the final annual Call of Duty game as it was reported that the 2023 Call of Duty game will come out in 2024. It is also believed that the series could cease to be an annual series following the acquisition by Microsoft of Activision Blizzard.
But, there are reports the possibility that Activision Blizzard is committed to making the three upcoming Call of Duty games multiplatform.
