The next chapter in Hunter x Hunter manga Hunter the x Hunter manga could be in the near future, possibly ending an extended hiatus of the manga.
The Hunter x Hunter manga yoshihiro togashi may finally be back
A Twitter account believed to be owned through Hunter x Hunter creator Yoshihiro Togashi released a brief update on Tuesday. It was an image of the top corner of a manga’s page, with the words that roughly translate into “4 more episodes for the time being.” The account is brand new, therefore it’s unconfirmed, however the bio states that it’s, in fact authentic in addition to stating that Togashi will use it to track his development. 1 Punch Man artist Yusuke Murata states that the account belongs to Togashi as well. Polygon has called Viz Media, U.S. publisher of Hunter x Hunter for confirmation.

Togashi started Hunter x Hunter in 1998. The manga and two anime series that are based on it are set in an environment where licensed professionals known as Hunters take on fantastical adventures, like finding dangerous creatures, pursuing criminals, or searching for treasure. The show follows a boy, named Gon who passes the Hunter Test to locate his father, who is a famous Hunter himself. On the way the boy encounters Killua an escaped the heir to an assassin’s family; Kurapika, the last member of a clan that was murdered and Leorio who is a medical student.
The Gon adventures have been mostly concluded following his chaotic Chimera Ant arc, the most recent manga volumes have shifted towards Kurapika. In a bid to bring justice to his fallen family and to reclaim their stolen eyes Gon embarks on a risky journey to a foreign land, serving as the bodyguard for the baby princess. Leorio is also on the ship and is serving as a steward on the Med Bay however, we don’t have much to see of him.
Meanwhile the 2011 animethat is the mainstay of the manga until the current arc can be streamed via Crunchyroll as well as HBO Max.
